Google Maps What's New

Google Search helping you to book your rides

Lot of people prefers to use taxi services India, and now that we have more than one option available, the need to compare the services, before you select the service provider comes to your mind. Understanding this need, Google has come up with a new option that will allow people to book a UBER or Ola cab, right from the Google Search or the mobile browser of their smart phones.

Book Rides with Google

It is quite simple, you can search for the directions for any place, and then choose a taxi service for the menu in Google Search app, or you can do the same through the mobile search browser. The tool and features are already available in the latest version of the Google Maps from early this year.

This will allow you to compare the taxi fares, the time it will take for them to provide the service and other important details, before choosing the right taxi service. The best part is: all this can be done in the Google Search results itself.

However, this does not mean you will have to compare and choose every time you wish to take a ride. If you are sure about the service provider you wish to use, all you have to do is, type the specific taxi service name, with the location you want a ride for, and the app or the browser, whichever you are using, will direct you to select the service.

It will then help you in booking your ride in hassle free manner, which means, you will not have to provide the information again and again, it will open the app and you can simply tap once to book your ride.

However, if you don’t have any particular app installed in you smart phone, Google Search will provide you with the link for the same, so you can install the app and then book your ride.
