Google introduced its new and revolutionary app Gboard this year in May, for iPhones. It enables you to send GIF’s, emojis and information right from your keyboard, which cuts into a lot of time and hassle, you normally spend switching. Now, they are taking it one step further, by adding a personalized keyboard service and smart GIF suggestions, to Gboard.
They are also doing this on a global stage. Gboard is now available for French, Spanish, German, Italian and Portuguese speakers. And as a smart app, Gboard will automatically align with the phones default language, so you don’t have to worry about switching or settings; that can take ages to get right.
Gboard was already available for English speakers across Europe, US, Canada and Australia. And they can also benefit from new and improved features, too.
Suggesting Smart GIFs
Google apps and sites already suggest the text and emoji, when we are typing. This feature helps us in more ways than we can count. However, now the same technology will also be able to suggest GIFs, a smart move by Google to say the least.
It will make sending and selecting GIFs a lot easier and less time consuming then before. All you have to do is: type your text and Gboard will come up with the relevant GIF suggestions, you can just tap on the one you like and send it to your friends.
Personalized Keyboard
With the new and improved Gboard, you can let you keyboard speak your style. This new features gives you the option of selecting keyboard skins, you can choose dark for darker apps and light for lighter apps. But, the best feature of this improvement is the photos. Now, you can select any photo from you gallery and set it is as the background image of your keyboard, or we should say Gboard, just like your background wallpapers.
