More New features in Google Docs Mobile Apps

we have seen that google has updated some new features in google docs mobile apps some days ago and now here is some new upgrades with the google doc apps i.e. google sheets, google docs.

In this update, we will see some new and useful features on android and iOS device mobile apps.

You can see and enjoy the below features in your Android Devices.

Add Headers, Footers and Page numbers on your docs





To Add Header and Footer

  1. Open your docs with google docs mobile app.
  2. Click on edit (pen icon).
  3. Tap on more (3 vertical dots icon).
  4. Turn on “Print layout”
  5. Now click on Header & Footer
  6. Do the changes/ update your header and footer.

To Change Page Number 

  1. Open your docs with google docs mobile app.
  2. Click on edit (pen icon).
  3. Tap on more (3 vertical dots icon).
  4. Turn on “Print layout”
  5. Click on ‘Insert page number’ present at the bottom.
  6. Now, You can see the page numbers in header or footer.

Edit and update images in Google Docs and Google Slides

Reset the image size (In Google Docs) 

  1. Open your document in Google Docs apps.
  2. Tap the image you want to edit.
  3. Now, tap on the format option (A icon with 4 horizontal lines) at top right.
  4. Click Reset Image.

Add Border on the image (In Google Docs and Google Slides)

  1. Open the document/slides in your google doc apps.
  2. Tap the image you want to edit.
  3. Now, tap on the format option (A icon with 4 horizontal lines) at top right.
  4. Select the line weight, type and size of the border.

Rotate and Resize your image (In Google Docs)

  1. Open the document/slides in your google doc apps.
  2. Tap on the more option(3 vertical dots icon).
  3. Turn on “Print layout”
  4. Select the image you want to edit.
  5. Now, You can resize and rotate the image – you can drag the square to resize it and rotate the small circle present in the middle of the image to rotate it.

  1. Open the slides in your google slides apps.
  2. Select the image you want to edit.
  3. Now, You can resize and rotate the image – you can drag the square to resize it and rotate the small circle present in the middle of the image to rotate it.

Crop Images in Google Slides

  1. Open the slides in your google slides apps.
  2. Select the image you want to edit.
  3. Now click on Crop option present in the top right corner.
  4. Select and drag the border to crop the image. / In the top right, select ‘Mask’  to mask the image.
  5. After selecting the border click anywhere else on the screen.

Mask Images in Google Slides

  1. Open the slides in your google slides apps.
  2. Select the image you want to edit.
  3. Now click on Crop option present in the top right corner.
  4. In the top right, select ‘Mask’  to mask the image.
  5. Select the mask shape you want.
  6. Select and drag the border to adjust the size.
  7. After selecting the border click anywhere else on the screen.

You can now enjoy the below new features in the iOS devices:

  1. Open the document/slides in your google doc apps.
  2. Tap the image you want to edit.
  3. Now, tap on the format option (A icon with 4 horizontal lines) at top right.
  4. Select the line weight, type and size of the border.
  5. Tap on ‘Done’ present in the top left corner.
