Here is how Kids can win this year’s Doodle 4 Google Contest

Well kids, it is that time of the year again! Google is bringing back its famous art contest, 2016 Doodle 4 Google, which will be a fantastic opportunity for kids with hidden artistic talents to showcase it.

Art-loving kids from grades kindergarten to 12 from across the U.S., Puerto Rico and Guam can take part in this contest. All you have to do is use your imagination to create an impressive doodle using the Google logo in whatever medium you want.



And now moving on to the main issue of what the theme for this year’s contest is going to be! The theme is: “What I see for the future…” meaning the kids will have to picture what they think will be waiting for them in the coming years and depict that vision in the doodle.

It can be anything like making a shooting star your home, sky filled with flying dogs, a trips that you always wanted to go on or in a true futurist style you can bring to life an entire distant planet with spectacular gadgets, people and technology. 

And the winner will get to see his or her masterpiece on the Google homepage for one whole day along with millions of other people around the world.

This awards for this year’s contest will be one for the ages as the future and the millions of ways to depict it will bring out the best designs. So to judge these incredible designs equally incredible judges will be put together including some from the Google Doodlers team who will be responsible for picking the National Winner.

But the price actually doesn’t end with getting the winning doodle on the Google Homepage! The winner will be receiving a prize money of $30,000 which will be put towards their college scholarship and he or she will also get an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with the Google Doodle team that is working out of the Googleplex in Mountain View.




Apart from this, the school that the winner belong to will also get a $50,000 award which can be used to get new technology that will help the next generation of kids by molding them so that they can have better careers, maybe even in Google!

The last date for submission of the doodles is December 2, 2016. So all that the kids will have to do now is imagine the wonders that are waiting for them in the future and pen it down! Get doodling!
