Google in collaboration with the famous motion pictures production house Warner Bros. Pictures, has come up with a new virtual reality game and cast a spell update, set in J.K. Rowling’s latest Wizarding world, the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The story is set in the 1926 New York, long before the time of Harry Potter and his fellow students went to Hogwarts for their own adventures.
We are introduced to a brand new central character in this story, Newt Scamander who is a magizoologist, his era is completely different from what we have read and seen in the Harry Potter books and movies or even in the games.
With this new update, you can now do magic with your phone or in better words on your phone. It’s quite easy, all you have to do is say “Okay Google” combined with “Lumos” or you can even say “Nox” and the flashlight of your phone can easily be turned on and off.
Similarly, if you wish to silent your phone, all you have to do is say, “Silencio” and the notifications or the ringer of your phone can be silenced. Cast a spell now with your desktop at spell up with google.
People who like virtual reality and love to explore real places in virtual reality on their smart phones or systems, can actually visit the real film locations used in the movie “Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them” with the Google’s Street view, set in New York 1926. They can even see the magical apartment of two key characters of the movie, Tina and Queenie Goldstein.
After spending some time exploring the city and understanding the streets and the views, you can even participate in the search for Newt’s escaped beasts. The city of New York already has too many dark forces on the loose, and you can join in with your own Daydream View and virtual reality headset. This will be available in November, as that’s when Daydream View goes on sale.
If you love this new virtual reality world, then you can even download the exclusive “Fantastic Beasts” sticker pack, which will be available quite soon in the new messaging app “Google Allo”. With this new pack you will be able to share your adventures with your friends. Form November 1st you will also have access to content created by some of your favorite YouTube creators inspired by wizarding world.
The new movie Fantastic Beasts will be in cinemas this November.
